Production Update
about 1 month ago – Thu, Aug 20, 2026 at 07:41:07 AM

Hello, friends!

I’m very happy to share a new production update for School of the Heart.

Most of the materials have now been fully prepared and sent into production. One of the largest remaining parts of the project — the Companion Book — is finally complete as well. This stage took a little longer than we originally expected because we decided to add the Latin mottos for the emblems to the book. The book is now fully ready for printing.

We have also already received and approved several pre-production samples, so some parts of the project are now moving from final files and proofs into actual production.

Another important stage has begun as well — the production of the paper for the cards. The factory is manufacturing a large batch of paper specifically for our print run.

I’m also sharing a few photos of the process and of some of the samples that have already been prepared and approved, so you can see how the project is gradually beginning to take physical form.

There are still many production stages ahead over the coming weeks, and I’ll continue sharing new samples, photos, and updates as the work progresses.

We Did It — Thank You for an Incredible Campaign!
2 months ago – Fri, Jul 24, 2026 at 12:30:59 PM

Dear backers,

The campaign has officially ended, and together we reached the incredible total of $327,040.

I still cannot fully comprehend this result. When I first began working on this project, I could never have dreamed of such an extraordinary outcome. None of this would have been possible without your support, trust, kind words, and willingness to share the project with others.

A huge thank-you to everyone who backed the campaign, asked questions, shared advice, left comments, and helped me improve the project throughout these past weeks. Your participation was truly valuable, and many of your suggestions helped shape the project into what it has become.

Although the campaign has ended, the main work is only beginning. There is still a great deal to prepare before all the materials can be sent to production, and I will continue sharing news with you at every important stage.

I plan to publish updates as each major stage is completed:

preparing the artwork and print-ready files;

producing and reviewing test samples;

approving the samples and making any necessary adjustments;

beginning full production;

preparing the packaging and fulfillment process.

I will share the results of the work and all important information along the way, so you can follow the project as it gradually becomes a finished physical collection.

I am also currently preparing the backer survey. As soon as it is ready, I will publish a separate update.

Once again, thank you so much to every one of you for making this project possible. I am endlessly grateful for this incredible result and for the trust you have placed in my work.

Only 72 Hours Left — Two More Goals Unlocked!
2 months ago – Tue, Jul 21, 2026 at 10:00:27 AM

Dear friends,

There are only three days — 72 hours — left until the end of the campaign, and I’m very happy to share some important news with you.

We have finally reached our social goal! Thanks to everyone who shared the project, spread the word, and helped promote the campaign, the Mini Deck will now include 55 cards instead of 50.

Thank you so much to everyone who helped make this possible!

We are also very close to the $250,000 milestone, which unlocks the new altar cloth design. Technically, we have not reached this goal just yet, but with so little time remaining in the campaign, I decided not to wait and to reveal the new design now.

I truly hope that, together, we will officially unlock it during these final 72 hours.

ADD-ON The New Altar Cloth Design

The design is based on a page from Leonhard Thurneisser zum Thurn’s astrological atlas, Astrolabium, published in Berlin in 1575. The title of the original page is “Deß Menschen Circkel und Lauff,” which can be translated as “The Circle and Course of Human Life.” The atlas was conceived as a complex astrological instrument for observing the movements of celestial bodies, casting horoscopes, and contemplating the relationship between human destiny and the structure of the cosmos.

The Sun with a human face symbolizes vital energy, light, consciousness, and the center around which the order of the world is formed.

The terrestrial sphere represents the material world, human existence, and humanity’s place within the cosmic system.

The crossed keys are associated with access to hidden knowledge, the revelation of mysteries, and the passage between the visible and the invisible.

The star bearing seven planetary symbols represents the seven classical celestial bodies of astrology: the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. Together, they symbolize cosmic order and the combined forces that, according to the astrological tradition of the sixteenth century, influence human life.

We are now entering the final 72 hours of the campaign. There is still time for those who have not yet joined us to support the project, and together we still have a chance to officially unlock the new altar cloth design before the campaign ends.

A New Stretch Goal Unlocked — and the Wisdom of Janus
3 months ago – Mon, Jul 13, 2026 at 01:25:03 PM

Hello everyone!

We have unlocked another stretch goal! A metal bookmark will now be included for every backer who has selected a physical reward. Thank you for helping the campaign reach this new milestone — I’m so happy to add another special detail to your rewards.

And today, I would also like to share Card 104 from The School of the Heart Oracle.

That head, once placed within his temple door,
The well-known shape of ancient Janus bore,
Retains the form that here before you find:
A face before him, and a face behind.

This ancient emblem once was made to hold
A multitude of pagan truths of old;
But leaving those hidden mysteries apart,
We turn to what its motto would impart.

In sacred truth, it is to God alone
That every hidden thing is fully known.
He is the ever-present, all-seeing One,
From whom no deed or secret may be gone.

At once He sees all things that now appear,
All that will come, and all that once was here;
The whole of time lies open to His sight:
The past, the future, and the present light.

But in a moral sense, this double face
May stand for one who acts with thought and grace;
Who, whatever task he means to do,
Looks both before him and behind him too.

For no one wisely plans what lies ahead
Who leaves the lessons of the past unread;
And those who fail to look before they act
May lose the work their hands have built in fact.

By looking back, we see and understand
The deeds and lessons of an earlier land;
By looking wisely forward, we foresee
What future times may bring and what may be.

And so we gather more than what we gain
Within the brief years that to us remain;
Through memory and foresight, we may share
In times long past and times not yet made clear.

Symbolism of the Card

At the center of the card is a door set beneath an arch, with the two faces of Janus placed upon it. One face looks toward what has already passed, while the other turns toward what is still approaching. They look in opposite directions, yet belong to a single head, suggesting that memory and foresight are not separate powers, but two parts of one conscious mind.

Janus is traditionally associated with doors, gates, beginnings, endings, and transitions. Here, the door becomes an image of the present moment: the threshold through which the past becomes the future. To move through it wisely, one must understand both what lies behind and what may lie ahead.

On the left, a city can be seen — a space of human history, accumulated experience, and the world already created. On the right, a person cultivates the field, transforming present action into a future result. These two scenes connect the memory of the past with responsibility for what will be created next.

The card speaks of the need to look in both directions: to understand the consequences of what has already been done and to foresee where today’s decisions may lead. Only then can we act consciously in the present.

Warmly, Una
